Dominique began at The Carying Place as an intern in February 2025 and officially joined the team in July 2025. She holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Walden University and is preparing to pursue her MSW, with a research focus on improving social work practices to better support underserved communities—particularly those impacted by poverty and homelessness. Her passion for working with youth is grounded in years of experience, including childcare at the Child Development Center on a military base in Alaska and volunteering at Pearsontown Elementary School. Dominique is committed to creating equitable outcomes and is excited to advocate for young people, empower them, and help them build strong, informed connections with their community.
