Mark Ring Associate Family Support Specialist/Adults

Mark arrived in the Cary area with his wife in 1979 after graduating from the University of Florida for a long and rewarding career at IBM and Toshiba developing retail store systems.  During that time, he volunteered with various groups addressing homelessness among various populations starting with the Going Home Initiative addressing re-entry and homelessness among people coming out of prison.  Later, he was invited to volunteer at TCP by a longtime TCP volunteer and personal friend about 15 years ago where he received an education on the topic.   After retiring from the business world, TCP hired him to fill a couple of important roles as TCP expands the number of families served.  Mark is excited for the opportunity to continue to serve families coming into the TCP program helping them regain control of their lives and the dignity they deserve.  Mark can be reached at Mark.Ring@thecaryingplace.org or  919-462-1800.
